E-Niche was formed in 1998 to capitalize on the opportunity to quickly create and launch online niche marketplaces which would make use of the same set of core technology. E-Niche changed its name to exchange.com and was later acquired by Amazon.com, along with the company's first 2 marketplaces, MusicFile and Bibliofind. Capsule designed the E-Niche corporate information site and the MusicFile site, and redesigned the existing Bibliofind site.
